22691 (22691S) Harness Socket Mounting
Now we move on to some examples of Jeep and Toyota vehicle mountings.
Mounting the bracket or even using it in any way does not seem to be the norm. Most I see are not even mounted like so:
Because the plug was facing up, it was allowing water in, I already dumped the water out before I took the pic. This was an original Drive Pro with no Stack / Stop brackets (see 2016 Wrangler Anniversary Edition pic below). The bumper had to come off of this to move the plug!

|2012 Jeep Wrangler JK - had to move it over some like the 2007 above.||2013 Jeep Wrangler Moab with aftermarket bumper. Firrst year no S / S Brackets.||2013 Jeep Wrangler Sport|

|The 2016 Wrangler Anniversary Edition has the Rubicon Bumper that required notches to be cut out of the plow mount brackets on each side to fit the bumper back on. The Stack Stop Bolt Brackets mean the Socket needs to be further under the license plate to clear.|

So that eliminates some places the Socket can be mounted on ALL Drive Pro plows.

I have only done 3 Toyota Tundra trucks. Two were almost 10 years ago and I don't recall if the socket was even mounted on them. That was long ago when time was oh so important, before I learned the hard lesson that rushing is a bad thing. For me it means every litttle part of the job that should take x amount of time takes 3 times longer as soon as I give a dealine for completion. It is much less stressful to just do the job correctly the first time, even if it takes twice as long. Keep in mind when I give a price installed, that price is if it takes me 4 hours or 16 hours. I am the one eating it. Shoddy work will not leave this shop, it never has and never will.

|2016 Toyota Tacoma - This was my last Drive Pro that was not SOS. The customer gave the OK to mount the plug like it is and was very happy with it.|
