E-57H on an EZ Mount Classic Lift Frame

Customer came in two weeks ago, and said plow will not lower. One look and we knew it was the wrong pump, but we addressed to lowering problem first. Then explained the problem with having the wrong power unit. To help alleviate some of the problem, we moved the Lift Ram to the front hole in the Lift Arm.

You can see the dent in the back of the hydraulic fluid Tank where it is hitting the Lift Frame.

On the back of the E-57H Power Unit you can see chunks of aluminum missing around the "A" Coil & Valve Assembly. You can see the paint chipped on the Lift Frame too.

The Motor was also hitting the Lift Frame. It is a surprise that the motor didn't tear off from the force.

The plow had excessive wear on the ends from running curb lines. We will address this issue in the fall with some Carbides from Jerre's Service.

We drained and flushed the angle rams.

Found some damage too. This truck does a lot of sidewalks. The back bolts on the Angle Cylinders were installed from the top down. The nuts on the bottom were scraped up bad. In the above picture we already cut them off with a torch.

After the above bracket was bent, wear was accelerated on the hole.

So was the other side. We repaired these with weld.

You can see how much the bracket was bent, and the Cylinder Mounting Bolt too!

This unit has only been on the truck a couple of years, and look at the gunk and water inside already.
